Overview

The Product and Service Code (PSC) system classifies what the U.S. government buys so contract actions can be consistently recorded, searched, and analyzed across federal procurement systems. PSCs are maintained by GSA in the PSC Manual and are used in FPDS reporting to indicate the nature of the procured product or service. ¹
